Yeah, a new unreleased figure please....Variants are not big seller's most of the time
If you offered King Tut or Bookworm,I would splurge the $60 if needed for itLeave a comment:

Bruce Wayne 27 1967: Joker should ship from Figures late next week. We should have them early the following week.
drogge: I think we would all prefer a new unreleased figure, but if Figures had to invest in the tooling for a new sculpt for an exclusive, you would be looking at about $60 per figure since they are limited to just 600 pieces each. New tooling for a figure with a production run of 5,000 pieces makes good financial sense for them. New tooling for a figure with a production run of 600? Not so much. Still, I think you are going to be very pleased with this new batch. Of course, like last time, I think we got the best one.
Lots of great ideas! Keep them coming!Leave a comment:

I would prefer a new unreleased figure, not a redo or variation. Please not a released figure with a new custom, something never released - brand new. There are a ton of villains and henchmen to choose from. I vote for Aunt Hilda.Leave a comment:

Definitely a "superfan" here!! Can we expect Opera Joker to be shipped out next week? Or are you thinking the first week of September?
Putting my hat in for Alfred in Batman disguise ... especially after the announcement of the Alfred sculpt.Leave a comment:

The Riddler was the FIRST villain in the series; how could we NOT love him?
Frank Gorshin was so delightfully unrestrained in his portrayal; you really felt that this was a totally unhinged individual who was mostly into crime not just for the money, but to outsmart Batman. And he usually did at first, then the second episode would deal with his defeat.
Frank may not have been what we call a 'classical' actor, but he was an excellent character actor, and those are always more interesting.Leave a comment:

That's good to know! I assumed you guys just didn't care for the Riddler. See what happens when we assume? Also, just received word that our Opera Joker is arriving NEXT week! A full month early! Our pre-sells were REALLY strong so if you want one, now is the time. So sorry for the commercial, but I want to make sure these get in the hands of the "superfans."

Hear, hear!
I was definitely hoping that the figure would be made; in fact, I though that it WAS going to be made. At least that's what I was led to believe.
A new headsculpt would certainly look better than the maquette I saw of Frank as the Riddler! EEE! It was HORRIBLE!
It looked like a really bad caricature of him than an actual portrait.Leave a comment:

That would be a great figure, but it would require a new head sculpt as well as a new costume. With an exclusive, you may get one or the other, but not both. If you see a first appearance Riddler, it will likely be part of a wave. However, I will certainly push for that figure in the future! Who knows?Leave a comment:

I am trying to talk them into Scooby Doo with celebrity retail exclusives. Likely cost-prohibitive due to likeness restrictions, but I think it would be a lot of fun. Put us down for Davy Jones or Jerry Reed.Leave a comment:

Let me pull back the curtain for a moment and explain how the exclusive process works... Figures Toy creates a list of potential exclusives. They share that list with us and allow us to select one. Your input on forums like this is shared by me to them for ideas for potential future exclusives. Your input REALLY matters! It sounds like many of you were unhappy with the Gorshen likeness of the first figure. It would appear that there is strong demand for a unmasked Riddler with a better likeness. My assumption would be that Figures would save an Astin Riddler for themselves. Kato and the Green Hornet as an exclusive will never happen without a retail release first. I am by no means confirming or denying a coming Green Hornet line, just trying to clarify for you guys.Leave a comment:
