I really have no idea, but my guess would be "Star Wars."
- ianRampart, this is Squad 51. How do you read?Comment

Wouldn't the license for 8" Star Wars figures be insanely expensive? Seems like it would be out of reach of FTC.
I'd love it, but I can't see it.Comment

Yeah, it is hard to think of anything way bigger than Harry Potter. Disney now owns Star Wars and the Marvel Universe, right? Hmm, be strange if it was Star Wars, but that would be great news.Comment

I just watched the Matrix trilogy on tv over the weekend. I was thinking maybe this is what doc was hinting about in one of his threads. Or maybe this is the new FTC line.Comment

I was thinking Star Wars too. Which if that does come to pass, makes you wonder how FTC missed on Marvel and/or why DST & EMCE are being punished with the licensing restrictions they were given with Marvel ReMegos. It's not like Star Wars doesn't have enough lines -- 3.75", 6" Legends style, 1/6 Scale, etc..
Both Hasbro and Diamond would have had to pass or give their OK before Figures Toy Company could gain the Marvel license. Diamond did not pass but teamed with Emce to produce repro Marvel Megoes..
If FTC does have the Star Wars license, it has sub-licensed it from Hasbro. Diamond may or may not have been in the picture.
Even if Diamond had passed on the Marvel license, FTC would likely have been under The same constraints as Diamond is now, so it would have had to have set a price point on Marvel figures similar to the one that Diamond has.
If FTC has the Star Wars license, we don't know what the price point on the figures will be. It could be more than the $25-$30 FTC is currently charging for its DC and other licensed figures, or it might not.Comment

Bat-facts
Okay not Star Wars although no one knows what the future Holds. And FYI marvel did come by this door but as some have said here, the demands on the License and 8" were high price points on all items. Back to our topic, can't give it out but no one has mentioned anything close at the Moment. Also different scales may be coming around the mountain on many different things.Comment

Batman movies? Nolan Batman Trilogy? Batman is bigger to kids than Harry Potter, isn't he? But Harry Potter movies have grossed more than Batman?
Glad to hear Star Wars might have a chance someday!
Different scales other than 8" 12" and 18"?Comment

Yeah, James Bond seems like a solid guess. What about Star Trek. It is a huge property. Maybe the new Star Trek crew?Comment

Bond would be a better guess. Doesn't fit with the no figures for 15 years bit tho. Sideshow did some a few years ago.You must try to generate happiness within yourself. If you aren't happy in one place, chances are you won't be happy anyplace. -Ernie BanksComment
