I wish one company had both DC and Marvel licenses, but I'm pretty sure those days ended with Mego. It seems there's too much competition between the two companies now. Some uniformity in the figures would be nice though.

I love em, they're giving me my childhood back. It boggles my mind how some people can be so upset about these figures cause they aren't making the changes they want to see. Hell I want to see all the cardbacks feature headshots like the Wonder Woman card does. This is a BIG deal to me, but I don't let it not happening ruin my appreciation of what FTC is doing.

We are getting our second chance at getting Megos. It's taken 40 years to get here, let's enjoy the moment.

IMO - you have to give them credit. They had big problems with that stuff being made in India.

They were able to overcome that and rebuild. They are doing 2 things at once - remaking figures we had & also making figures we never had.
They took some big risks and spent a lot of money to get to where they are now - so again you have to give them credit.

the price point to me is perfect
If you had to dress a naked original batman: It would cost you- 5 bucks for a cape, 5 for a belt, 5 for a jumpsuit, 3 for some trunks, 3 for some gloves, and 3 for some boots so that's 24.00 plus 10- 15 for a good type 2 naked batman

So for the 25.00 a figure I think its a great deal.

Some will say they are only copying the original - well give them credit.
We all wanted the famous covers line to be good but were left wanting.

The Retro Action line to me was pretty good - I had no real issues with it other than the bodies. But that line feel short as well

For the most part I see no real issues with the waves that I have got so far. The 66 was a hit for sure and bats wave 1,2 and 3 were pretty much spot on.
yes Alfreds head is a pinch bigger than we would like to see, I would have also liked to see the high boots on batgirl - but over all you have to agree these were pretty well made and have exceeded any expectations we all had.

I like to see what they come up with down the road. I'm looking forward to a huntress, or hawkman and some wonder twins.

anyway - to me you have to give credit where it is due - over all to date I think they should get some credit for the figures I have now seen in person.

I wont comment on pre-sale waves until I have them in my hands to make a fair call on them.

Personally I would have loved to see this happen.
I think they would have done a great job with marvel, and the price point would have been the same.

I heard they did try to get Marvel - for what ever reason they did not get it. I'm hoping the re-make Marvel Megos are as good as the DC has been.
          Time will tell

But yeah I wish one company was doing them both to keep in the same scale, same packing, same price point etc..

I asked Zach about the packaging for the Diamond Marvel 3-packs and he said the Mego repro box can be removed from the packaging and displayed by itself. If that's true, then it would be nice to have the Marvel figures in the Mego repro boxes displayed alongside the DC characters MOC from FTC. I would probably buy the 3-packs for the original Megos like Spiderman and Iron Man and sell off the 2 extra costumes.

Apparently, what Diamond can do with the Marvel Megos is extremely limited; it has to be the exact format we see with Spidey, one figure, three heads and costumes. Pretty much rules out all but a handful of characters, sadly.

If FTC had gotten the license, I'd bet we'd be have been seeing Mego X-Men before long. Bad on the wallet, but good for the soul...

Yes - it is my full understanding that price points were set by marvel.

would have been great to see all the old original megos
and some great villains like loki, doom, red skull.

guess we gotta take what we can get
