These SOLD OUT announcements are scaring me into pre-ordering earlier than I usually would. No complaints tho, glad these are selling out.

Yep, at this rate Batman Wave 4 could sell out shortly after pre-order is available IF demand is really building this quickly for the figures.

I am PO'd!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't believe these are sold out before they even hit preorder doors! I ordered Batgirl last week and still have not gotten it! I rushed to find a series to order on the web BBTS and really hope they don't send me a sorry, we can't fill your order letter! I really hate it when they don't make enough of a product to meet the demand! I thought series one was fine, they had it in stock for like 6 months before it sold out. Now I may have to place preorders more often! Speaking of selling out, I wonder if I should order the Teen Titans now? Why did they sell out so fast?

I ordered an extra set of the Titans just because Vinny said the run would be very small and sell out quickly. I think people are waiting on the Titans to make sure the suits aren't as baggy as the prototype pictures.

BTW you're right, there should be at least a few months to order, 6 months with Wave 1 was perfect.

I ordered from EE 2 days ago when Robin sold out I hope I dont get one of those letters as well. I hope I'm wrong here but... None of the other 2 waves sold out except for Robin... Maybe the cut back orders of the third wave when the saw that wave 1 and 2 were not doing as well as expected. But didn't take into consideration that they had a figure carrying this wave that was new ans a character that alot of people never were able to pick up to begin with... I'm sure I'm wrong but I just don't get why they would retire theses figures without at least a second run...

I think retailers who ordered directly from FTC should be fine. Those that ordered from Diamond, those are the retailers I would be worried about not receiving a full order.

Well this royally sucks. Happy for FTC on the success, but I was only able to order Batman and Batgirl. Now, I'll have to get Alfred the same I got Robin. Ebay. Luckily, I just ordered the Teen Titans.

Maybe that's why they're "sold out". Mattel sold out on Green Arrow only for them to reappear later. Looks like a lot of people are ordering in a frenzy right now. Doesn't make much sense to spend the kind of money a DC license costs then "retire" items that are selling out.

It's not a doll it's an action figure.

I have been debating if I wanted all of series 3 or just Batgirl & Alfred, I went and panic ordered the whole set now! I guess that is one way to drive sales! I do hope FTC will see that they under ordered and find a way to release these again with different card art perhaps? They could do RC Batman with a regular cape instead of vinyl etc. I may get mine, but I just hate to see anyone miss out, or pay scalper prices on e-bay! I wonder what drove the outage, was it they ordered less because they felt they over ordered on series one & two? Or has demand increased, etc?

I think this should prove to FTC that people do want "guys in suits",as they put it.

Yeah I could see that logic with wrestling and Triple H in a suit versus ring attire, but I don't think it would hold nearly as well for certain other lines such as WGSH.

I just ordered a Dick Grayson from a seller on amazon.com. Figured I better grab that before it sells out. I already pre-ordered the Teen Titans set as soon as I heard about it. I have original Kid Flash and Speedy figures. I will be quite happy to fill my collection with have reproductions for Dick Grayson, Aqualad, and Wonder Girl.

Other than those, I'm mainly interested in characters that weren't done by Mego. So, I'll track down an Alfred and start looking forward to Wave 4!
                              My Updated Want List:
                              Comic book original art
1970s Hulk or Spider-man metal garbage can
                              Custom Mego Nexus, Grendel

Have lots of comics and Marvel Legends figures for trades. Thanks!
