^Yes. It had been discussed earlier and at that time you had advocated no changes, which I why I wondered about your suggestion above.

And I see Batgirl's boots are indeed short, like vintage Invisible Girl.
WANTED: Dick Grayson SI trousers; gray AJ Mustang horse; vintage RC Batman (Bruce Wayne) head; minty Wolfman tights; mint Black Knight sword; minty Launcelot boots; Lion Rock (pale) Dracula & Mummy heads; Lion Rock Franky squared boots; Wayne Foundation blue furniture; Flash Gordon/Ming (10") unbroken holsters; CHiPs gloved arms; POTA T2 tan body; CTVT/vintage Friar Tuck robes, BBP TZ Burgess Meredith glasses.

Yes and I am a bit irked with the change to Batgirl's boots for the same reason. Appearance versus materials. That's why RC Batman having a vinyl cape doesn't really bother me, because Mego DID use vinyl capes for some Batman figures.

Besides if it did bother me I'd just swap the cap on the RC Batman and regular Batman and be done with it.

And Speedy--is it a question of rarity, childhood perception, or authenticity? I'm trying to understand your position from your posts.

My point is that correcting Speedy & Capt. America to be in character would not be subtle changes, although Speedy is rare and such changes might appeal to the adult collector, as you suggest.

I want Speedy to be Mego-accurate, not DC-accurate.

Mego-accurate to me means, it looks close to how it did when Mego made it. Always been clear on that, I thought.

I think the boot differential on Batgirl might be to service both this version and the Batgirl '66 that will be coming out. I could see them taking the same mold and just using different colors as appropriate to each figure. A cost saving measure that might make sense if the production numbers are small on each.
