Just FYI, the Batman and Robin headshots are by Carmine Infantino and Murphy Anderson. Catwoman's pic on the cardback is by Adams, though.

This card art is looking much nicer, but it's interesting to see what's in DC's style guide, and what isn't. The 1966 Batman and Robin shots mentioned above are, but the 70s headshots of Superman, Supergirl and Captain Marvel are not. Weird.

Same old WonderWoman available in two different backer cards? I would've preferred an updated version. I've always thought she looked like she's wearing pajamas. Maybe it's just me...

Her head looks less baby-ish than the original Mego, which is nice, but her face still looks too doll-like. I would have preferred a new sculpt that looked something like Invisible Girl--i.e., a woman, not a doll. And I hate those flesh bodysuits. I suppose i could buy an Invisible Girl head with black hair from their site and use that, but then there's the bodysuit problem. Not to mention that Mego-style female bodies are just too thin for my taste. Really, in order for me to buy any female Mego-style retro figure I would want a new female body with arms and legs that don't look like toothpicks. I'm hoping Doc Mego addresses this issue soon so I can buy some female bodies for customs.

When Anthony used the word "assortment" I took it to mean multiple figures. I've always been a fan of larger stars, or silkscreen sleeve cuffs would have been cool too. These will make great fodder for SI two-packs. Slap a CTVT black hair girl head in a Dinah outfit and call the Toyroom.

I think this satisfies the Mego repro crowd. It certainly satisfies me since I never had a Mego Wonder Woman. A second updated version would have been nice, but that should probably be saved for if/when FTC starts making new JLA ReMegos. I ordered a set, but I don't plan to start buying dupes to keep packaged, so I may just get the Mego head style card instead of what seems like a tribute to the 12" box card.

I'll definitely end up getting at least one, just to add to the collection. The temptation is there to get one of each and customize the one with the picture of Wonder Woman to remove the flesh parts of the outfit so it doesn't look like pajamas. Then add bracelets, tiara, boot stripes and rope.

But I'm still hoping they blow us away with a really great Neal Adams version of Wonder Woman! So I will probably hold off. Also really hoping for a Diana Prince version.

Always thought were done by Neal Adams. It was from the late 60s when he first started working with DC on Batman and was still drawing in a style more consistent with Infantino's take on Batman. Adams' first work on Batman was the cover of Batman 200, you can see the style is more in line with the late 60s Batman versus the Batman style he would develop in the early to mid 70s for the character.

Can you verify it they were done by Infantino? Not challenging you, just re-examining Robin and I can see a little of CI's style there so it's possible.

Although I was not a fan of the Mego 8 in. Wonder Woman, I will buy her for completion, especially for the Super Friends. I can't wait for news on Superman and Aquaman. And I'm hoping they will be sold individually and not just as fist fighters. I need all 5 Super Friends in my collection, and here's hoping FTC will make the Flash, Green Lantern, and Hawkman.

The one good thing about Superman as a fist-fighter is that he can more easily strike the Superman pose

I believe it's been confirmed Hawkman is coming, so sure Flash and GL are too.

I emailed FTC today and asked if there will be a FTC Superman wave soon noting that Clark Ken, Supergirl, and Mr Mxyzptlk are only original Mego DC WGSH unannounced.

FTC replied "many more coming soon"

That's great news! I wonder who 4th figure can be in Superman wave since Superman himself will be in Super Powers Fist Fighters Series 1? Lois Lane? Superboy? Bizarro?
