Will be interesting to see if they do this with the 'new' figures in the 'Mego' line such as Gordon, Scarecrow, Ras, etc. I could see something like this being an extension or what Mego would have attempted doing if the line had continued. Such as going from ovenmits to molded plastic gloves on Teen Titans and Fantastic Four. To me that's where this line has a chance to really be historic, if they can give us sculpts and figures that are not only characters Mego would have likely made, but in the evolving style they would have likely used.

On the off chance that FTC peruses these boards, my preference would be that they only use oven mitts or molded gloves on exact reproductions of original figures. Any new figures should utilize these "handless gloves" whenever the costume requires it. The only way I can see them improving it is if they could somehow create a two-piece "handless glove" with wrist articulation.

They look awesome Teemu, but I see Batman's belt still doesn't want to stay all the way down on the top of those bikini briefs they gave him. The shorts needed to be taller. Adam West looked like he was wearing high-rise briefs on the show. Lol! That would have helped the gap situation between the shorts and belt, if they were higher-waisted.
I was thinking maybe I could find someone to sew a matching blue pair of shorts to put over the little bikini ones.

Robin and Joker look the most awesome out the the first wave. I think Robin is even more perfect than the Joker.
His outfit is outstanding!
