Thanks for the photos and the review. I really like the way the boots and gloves look. Robin' vest/tunic really looks great. I also like the updated capes. I hope FTC utilizes these improvements on the comics/retro mego line once the reproductions are out of the way.

I'd love to see a Red Robin or Dr. Midnight figure with a vest/tunic as well made as Robin's. Pipe dream, I know.

I like it too, but I don't like the loss of the wrist bending articulation. But that'd be nitpicking.

I bet FTC would send you a replacement if you bring it to there attention.

I'm sure they would because their Customer Service is pretty good. But it's minuscule in my eyes. I've been waiting since January 2nd for these. I'm happy to have them. Hopefully there aren't too many out there like this....

To me it looks like something under the paint. Just looking at the figure, you only really notice it on the black part of the cowl. In the pictures, you see everything.

How many wires are there in Batman's cape? Any in Robin's?

One strand for each shoulder on Batman. No wire is in the scallops of his cape. As for Robin, there is no wire to be found, unless I somehow missed that.....

If it had come on a Titans body I would have definitely bought one, and I still might buy one--I'm just concerned that the tights won't fit well on a shorter body type. It would be nice if the tights were removable but they look like they're sewn to the trunks.

The tights don't have hems nor do they have sewn in feet on the ends of them, so converting this to a teen titan body is really easy, to me at least. All that it'd require is for you to cut them shorter so no "skin" is showing but keep in mind that they should be long enough to go into the shoe too.
