Much as I love to criticize CTVT figures, what is the point? These are not CTVT figures anymore.
These are actually good figures. Any complaints are purely marginal.
The bodies are much better than Kiss Bodies. The hands are still a tad small. (especially gloved hands)
But if you wanted to, you could make amazing gauntlets out of them, so there are always options.
I replaced Riddler's dark glove hands with the lighter purple glove hands (same mold, sold on the website) that actually match his outfit. Joker's head is a tad small. Bats & Robin's heads a tad big,
I hate to say it, but try as I might to find something, nothing is wrong with these figures. They are pretty awesome.
The quality is so far beyond Mego, that what can I really say? Not like the problems of the CTVT figures. These bodies are seriously 'not bad'. Do I LOVE the bodies. No. But I can honestly say, the bodies are good enough to leave the figures on without dropping additional $$$ for body swapping. Robin I switched out a few body parts (like a kiss torso) and different legs to shrink him down a bit. Still working on Bats. But customizing is not really NECESSARY at all. One thing to say - that doublesided tape on the gloves is 100% necessary. I fear the dog will be running off with Bat Gloves & boots. No need to heat anything to pop off the gloves & boots. Maybe I wish there were more VINYL parts instead of all the micro-thin rubber pieces. I would have gone into more detail for this post, but on the same day, I also received a package from Hawkmike of custom outfits so amazing my jaw was on the floor. I am still seeing stars and it really threw me off. I will take pix of the batman items when I can pull myself together and post soon.

I just slowly worked the batman belt down to the top of the trunks. The figure on the far right is a doc Mego body and belt. The Doc Mego belt is longer.Leave a comment:

Here's my set with a guest star. These are great figures. Batman's belt could be a bit more loose. robin's cape collar could be better, but those are minor quibbles.
Love Batman's cape. FTC needs to carry the wire over into all future caped figures. gloves and boots are a Tremendous advancement over old mego. Love the Full green shirt for Joker. sculpts are really nice. flesh tone could be better, but again. I am very pleased wit these figures.Leave a comment:

Oh OK. Many Thanks, Teemu. Sorry, I was getting confused about the ZICA body, that came out a while back, and the current Type S (aka "Zicaway") body made by both Caste-Away and ZICA.
The hole for the foot is kinda' small in relation to the hand peg. I guess that is why you mentioned it needs to be heated. Thanks for the clarification and your information again Teemu.
I dressed my Batman/Robin first before I heated the holes in the legs in case the suit didn't safely slide over the ball joint pegLeave a comment:

you can use glue or even blue tack...they sit in with little snug in the Type S arms,by glueing or even using tape makes them snug.
The swapping of Batman and Robin is VERY easy...just pop out those pins and reuse parts....the Zica hand pegs can be inserted into the legs after heating them up with a hair dryer...attach the ball joint to the Zica hand peg and insert into the feet
the hand ball joints can be removed from the FTC body and then inserted into the Zica forearms...I used super glue and it works awesome! or you can go blue tack/tape...whatever your preference

Many thanks for posting this. I never would have figured this one out. My only problem is that the ZICA body is no longer available.
Conversion to the "Zicaway" (Type S) body is limited due to the FTC leg pegs that attaches to the boot. I really wished FTC would have made "mego-like" boots instead. Thus, conversion to the "Zicaway" body would have been a snap. Just FYI. The Joker converted to the Zicaway body very easily. No can do for Batman and Robin.
Another FYI: On the "Zicaway" body, the wrist peg issue can be resolved without any glue. Just cut a lil' piece of the twisty tie and drop it into the wrist peg opening so the FTC plug do "fall" all of the way into the wrist hole. The ball part of the plug should now sit out enough so Batman's and Robin's gloves can be attached. If anyone can figure how to attached Batman's and Robin's foot (boots) to the leg, please post. Thanks.

The problem is the ZICA body is no longer available. What about those who do not have a ZICA body?
Oh sorry, I meant to write, "Just cut a lil' piece of the twisty tie and drop it into the wrist peg opening so the FTC plug do NOT "fall" all of the way into the wrist hole."

I think you replied to someone explaining just how to do the Batman legs, "then use the Zica hand pegs and swap the Feet ball joint from the FTC body onto that peg (using the same pins)...then take a hair dryer and heat up the bottom of the Zica legs and push the hand pegs right into the feet..."

converting is simple....the ball joints from the hands on the forearm, use a hair dryer to remove them and pull them out of the FTC body.then carefully superglue them (with the ball out far enough to attach) into the Zica forearms...they sit in there perfectly
then use the Zica hand pegs and swap the Feet ball joint from the FTC body onto that peg (using the same pins)...then take a hair dryer and heat up the bottom of the Zica legs and push the hand pegs right into the feet...and wah-lah! you have the exact same set-up as the FTC body
