To me it looks like something under the paint. Just looking at the figure, you only really notice it on the black part of the cowl. In the pictures, you see everything.

I bet FTC would send you a replacement if you bring it to there attention.

I'm sure they would because their Customer Service is pretty good. But it's minuscule in my eyes. I've been waiting since January 2nd for these. I'm happy to have them. Hopefully there aren't too many out there like this....

I like it too, but I don't like the loss of the wrist bending articulation. But that'd be nitpicking.

Ah, I didn't understand that. Perhaps a softer rubber would have made that possible. Still, good for them for thinking it through.

Thanks for the photos and the review. I really like the way the boots and gloves look. Robin' vest/tunic really looks great. I also like the updated capes. I hope FTC utilizes these improvements on the comics/retro mego line once the reproductions are out of the way.

I'd love to see a Red Robin or Dr. Midnight figure with a vest/tunic as well made as Robin's. Pipe dream, I know.

Guys,if your on the fence...get these!!! My figures were fully converted over to Type S bodies...they are perfect.I re-used parts from the old body to get the same set up as the FTC body..thanks for the good ole hair dryer and removable pins

I haven't ordered these yet, b/c I'm going to be adding shelving to my toyroom and I want someplace to actually put these. But I have to say, these look great! I will be getting all of wave 1, and villains, and the accessory set to put in my Batcave.
