I called them directly and they said they just got more in the shop yesterday. It should be back online shortly. Their selling fast.

The scale of these is way off. It looks like they're playing with children's guitars.
They seem to have been removed from the classictvtoys site. I wonder what's up?

I never knew any of those Mcfarlane guitars actually had strings, that's a pretty cool feature for something so small. That's the equivelant of having a Mego scale Uzi with locking mechanism and removeable clip. Too bad it can't be down tuned to drop-C and played. Maybe on the next wave.

don't look like real strings in your pic. I thought they were sculpted.

The McFarlane version also has real strings. And Farrow confirmed it was not his work. Interesting though they would be similar in scale next to the Mego style figure, since one should certainly be bigger than the other. The axe guitar in particular should be more pronounced on the Gene figure given it's design.

Hmmmmm. I got to looking at the axe guitar from my McFarlane Creatures Gene which I had been using as a prop for one of retro Demons and noticed some interesting similarities...

Notice the guitar strap on my Creature's axe is identical with the same pattern on it. The FTC axe does have a third control knob on it and the tuners are different.

Scale-wise my Creatures axe looks about the same as what they're advertising...

I wonder if Farrow would have been involved with this? I'm not sure. I'm going to inquire. But it seem pretty close to merit a comparison.

Cool! I got an official Ace Frehley Pickups guitar for my Ace when they came out around 15 years ago, and have always wanted to get a similar authentic bass for my Gene, so this is good news!

These are cool I like the Punisher bass more than the axe one.

Look nice! Both 8" and 12" versions.
And the clever part is, if you use it as a weapon, his axe is REALLy his axe!

agreed, especially for something that should have been included with the figure.

It is just me or is the scale off on those? Judging from the photos of the gene figure with the basses, the basses look tiny.
