Yeah, the tooling on something like this ain't free. Mattel is charging $200 for Castle Grayskull and they've got a wider audience with much more disposable income.

I think Palitoy's nailed it. The recent monster castle was $70 and it's basically laminated cardboard.

The price of plastic has escalated greatly, and a small run means even higher pricetg. But I hope they do it.

The figs will be $25-$30; I doubt the vehicles will be cheaper.

$70? I paid $99 when it came out. It maybe $70 now. It's not worth $70. Hopefully they improve accessories/play sets if they do come out with them.

If they manage to sell exact replicas, I would buy them at a decent price. Those are good ideas, because the market value on the originals are insane. I imagine they would price them around $79.99. If they come out over $100.00, I would have to think long and hard.

Mattel has the 66 Batmobile priced at $50-$60, and are offering a preorder for a 6" scale Ecto-1 from Ghostbusters for $215!!!
