Oven mitts on new DC characters...yes or no?

I want to see them as mego did them.
Maybe ctvt can make gloves later but they should do these the way mego made them.
New figures could have the colored hands and cuffs because that's the way mego was progressing.

Hopefully, at some point a batman w/o the mitts will happen, but It's fun to get an exact replica.

For all the MEGO re-issue figures...MITTS! For any new DC characters MEGO didn't make they should go with colored hands and cuffs.

I prefer colored hands.

Speaking of which, I wish there would have improved female mannequin hands. Look at the hands of the Breyer 8" dolls. They are perfect: vintage style, larger, and can pick up accessories. Would be a small but great improvement that does not betray the look of the figure.

Most likely you are going to get a reproduction. Which means the figure will be a reproduction of the original. You will have to be the ones to change the gloves from oven mitts to the molded gloves on their website. They are not going to make any changes to a reproduction figure. I'm betting the oven mitts will be what they do.
As much as I despised them, it won't break my bank to replace them with the molded ones with the fingers..etc.

I agree. The big question is, how will the mitts be? Past runs of CTVT gloves have been thick & shiny, not very appealing aesthetically or very close to Mego originals.

But the question is in regards to NEW figures that Mego never made. We all know the repros will have oven mitts.
