The price being tossed around is BBTS's price. They tend to be on the high-end price-wise.

I am trying to tame my excitement only because this should be Paul Clarke's baby, but I do believe that Mego is officially back, and I hope these lines do really well.
As for Doc, somehow he needs to get the Spiderman line! Spidey and all the villians, Mary Jane, J. Jonah, etc.
Unless, it's easier to get a DC license, like classic Superman, and add Supergirl, Lois, Jimmy, and all the villians, etc.
Can we do the kickstarter thing somehow?

Well - your sick for a few days and look at everything I missed!

All I can say is WOW!.. no really WOW!
I am super pumped someone is making mego figures.

As someone who collects and customizes these will be great - hope they come in at 20.00 or less each.
I do find a down side to it though. My gut is that Original Mego figures MIB and MOC will hold value - But for loose mego figures I think this will really kill the value.

just think of how much we all spent over the years tracking down clean figures. I fear the loose market will just drop out on the originals. Why buy a high expensice loose figure in good shape - when you could buy a brand new one for half the price?

So while I'm really happy Mego is back on the map - I'm a little sick know how much I have paid for figurs over the years, when i could have waited and got shinny new ones for a fraction of the price.

Again this is great for the hobby itself and I now see a whole new slew of people joing the MM boards and lots of happy adults who can now afford to re-buy their childhood at fair prices.
I would really love to see someone do the same for the marvel side and here is to hoping we get a whole new line of figures that were never made - like super friends, alter egos, and just some great main characters (not heroes) like lois, MJ, J.J - would be even better if we get some cool playsets like a dialy bugle etc..

here is to hoping! I just can't wait to get a set of these figures to let my son rip them open and just play with them!

I'm kind of excited for the Gilligan's Island figures. I love that show.

I called them today, and asked about the new girl figures that they are making.

While they didn't give too much away, the person who took the call was very nice to me and assured me that they were using different materials this time around, and that the figures would be better than the old ones.

In the picture above, it looks as if the thighs are made from two separate pieces, which leaves a seam line going down the middle.

Hopefully, this is just a preliminary picture and the leg pieces are one solid piece, like Doc's.
