Ive been reading past threads in the FTC section and came accros lots of comments about hits and misses about FTC.

So far, my opinion is the bodies are not great. the head sculpts and costumes are nice.

I remember my first time coming across the ftc /ctvt sites. I thought everything looked so neat!

I wanted to make my own Conan mego style figure so bought the head and everything I needed only to find the body was pale compared to the head sculpt...
but that opened a door...I started doing research....and next thing I know....I now have a big collection of mostly custom Mego scale figures.

I have the Batman and Robin from this line and agree with you, DAMN fine sculpts!

New head sculpts really help for customs. You have to give credit to FTC for that and also for making Mego come back to life. I`m just happy to have more Mego Like figures of action heroes from my comic books.

There is honestly SO much potential... a head sculpt and fabric clothing on a shared body....

Yep ! Agree with you.

I made 30 or so custom heads about 28-30 years ago (still need to find them in my boxes) I was big time in custom work. Then I saw Charlee Flatt`s customs... I took a break... lol

The heads are mostly accurate. The Superman is a little cartoony. The clothes and bodysuits are mostly good quality. Alot of the outfits I've gotten are made of thick material. It's just some of the plastic accessories where heartbreak can lie. I've had a pair of boots literally shatter in my hand when I've tried to put them on a figure.

I agree with you, the suits and sculpts are nice. The plastic for the boots and accessories are made of lesser quality plastic. Very light. Hell, some boots are split in the package.

Wish they made more DC figures since dont think we will get more DC Mego`s.


I just got back from meeting with the dealer/seller. I had 2 options, pick and chose and we work out a price for a small batch or I buy the rest of his collection for a discounted set price.
I bought his collection!
Will be posting lots of pictures once I finish taking them. Lots to do and little time.
