    Need help to identify

I just bought these 2 figures. They come as seen on the pictures, no box or cards. I matched the Catwoman with the FTC green card Catwoman but have no clue were the black removable helmet Batman comes from. Anyone knows ?

    The Batman is also FTC:
Each figure includes an authentic cloth outfit and comes in resealable plastic clamshell packaging. Figures has multiple points of articulation and is fully poseable. Officially licensed by DC Comics.

The removable cowl black Batman may have been an Emerald Comics exclusive. I recall they did quite a few in the heyday of DC FTC.

All I know is that its not part of any of the reg lines since if Spyntel would not have provided a link, would not have found it. The only way to find it on the FTC site is to do a search for a Black Batman.

Lots of people wrote on recent threads that the FTC bodies were not great Quality, these are my first loose figures so decided to inspect them.

Love the cape on this Batman, wider cape. Could easily hide the entire figure in it.

            IMG_7619.jpg

Body is very stiff, very hard to pose him.

Again, love the cape. It detaches in the front for easy removal.

Like the added neck cover. The only thing I dont like is the material, its not streachy , so harder to pose and body very stiff. Guess if you play with it it would loosen up.

The Female body is pretty much the same as the Mego body.

Batman in Black, Harley Quinn in Shiny-er material Costume, Joker in Black suit, and Black Suited Catwoman ( based on Batman Returns) were the four that were constantly offered up by Emerald City on ebay. I have one of each around the house. when they began offering at $5 each I bought several for parts.

That Batman looks particularly good with the cowl removed and in his hand!

Many years ago (maybe 10+), I bought a bunch of FTC figures on ebay, mostly described as 'new in plastic bag' or something like that. I had no idea who the manufacturer was. I bought them because they 'looked like Mego figures' and because they were of some of my favorite super hero characters that were never made in the vintage Mego line. I was totally happy with them. But I did find the bodies to be on the loose side mostly, and therefore hard to pose. Once Mego started up again, they've pretty much remained in a box in a closet.

Hell, would have bought a bunch of them. Real drag that I missed out on so many deals.

                      Love the Black Batman.

These are the first FTC figures that have loose. Have to say, very stiff and poseable. A good batch ?
To me, they seem to be like the old megos. Did not notice lesser quality mind you all my other ones are mint on card.

Again, love the cape on this figure.
