    A few things I don't like ......

    1. I don't like the New Series logo on the top of the card .....
They should have used the Classic Series Paul MaGann logo they use on all the Classic DVD's.
I've grown to associate that logo as THE generic classic DW logo.

    2. They shouldn't have used Tom's INSANE look on the card ...... Having an insane swappable head is fine, but don't put it on Toms card....
He looks evil to a young person who don't know Tom's Doctor.

    Kudo's ......

    1. I'm glad to NOT see JNT's burgandy suit....

    2. Likeness is nice .... But it has to come off that card.

    All in all ........

    7.5
It would have been a 9.5, but the card ruined it.

See these today in Forbidden Planet with monkey tennis....they were in the glass cabinet with a "coming soon" sign....they had a put together Robot and I must say overall the look fab.....Colin Baker seems to have lost something in the looks department...he doesn't quite look as spot on as the others....but all in all very, very nice figures...the packaging doesn't bother me as i'll be ripping those babies open as soon as I get my grubby protrubrances on them.....the voc's are single packed ...sorry yanouli....

Yeah, I see what you mean by Tom's insane look on the packaging but I bet most people will open it and throw it away. I suspect that extra head was sculpted from the expression he has in his opening titles; perhaps they could have used a still from that. The new series logo makes sense form an advertiesing standpoint. If you didn't know old DW, ( I know-seems unfathomable), a different logo might not catch your attention.

As for the color of Tom's coat, I have no doubt that Tom's figure will be re-issued 3-4 times and they will probably repaint it to reflect slight differences in the costume. I think he changed 3 times, no? He had a mohagany-like coat in Robot with shoes. By the time he met Leela he had a tweed-ish coat with a big artist pallette pin on his lapell. Somewhere he changed to bucaneer boots-I doubt they'll make this change in the figure at this scale. By the JNT era he was in a somehwat burgundy with purple and burgundy scarf. I'll buy them all!!!

As for re-paints and variants perhaps Colin will be re-issued with the blue funeral cloak from Revelation of the Daleks down the road? Peter without jacket as he appeared in Black Orchid? Perhaps a Regeneration pack of Peter in Tom's costume? Colin in Peters costume? A Tom and Liz Sladen 2 pack as Doctor & Sara? Then they would have to re-paint her to look 1970-ish. That would be cool!

For you Americans like me who want to be sure and get the set, try Big Bad Toystore. They are taking Pre-Orders on them!

I hope the collect and build ROBOT is eventually released on it's own.

Also being released are 3 classic Daleks,so Dalek fans should get their fix

Silver and Blue Dalek from "The Dead Planet (1963)

Black and Gold Dalek from "The Planet of the Daleks (1973)

Blue and Black Dalek from "Genesis of the Daleks (1975)

The 3 Daleks are in a set...not available seperately as of yet.
The Tom Baker expressions were both taken from "Revenge of the Cybermen"

I think it would be supercool if certain UK members were to get these at amazingly low prices for certain non-UK members.
Or better still, send them a free figure.
                          What do you think, Mike?
                          Wouldn't that be great?

I've ordered an extra Tom Baker figure and will hold a draw for it.
Only those outside the UK will be entered. Send me a pm if you want a chance to win him.

                              Wow!
                              This actually works....

I didn't really expect free figures, you know.
90 % of what I say here is BS anyway.

But I'm in, and I'll go through my things and see about a free give-away, too.
