Trek, Speed Racer, Wacky Races & more model kits @ Ollie's

Most of those retro model kits that Walmart had the last two holiday seasons are now at Ollie's for $12.99. They had several Star Trek ships, Speed Racer's car, Green Hornet's car, one of the Wacky Races cars and more there today when I stopped in.

Cool. No Ollie’s near me alas. I loved making models as a Ute as Cousin Vinny would say. I could not get my son interested at all. It’s like Legos but you have to glue and paint it and then use stickers?

Wish the Aurora figure kits would turn up at a discount. Would love to build up a Godzilla.

If I see the Mach 5, I'll pick it up. Been wanting to build that one, but if I do, I'm gonna paint it in the CORRECT white and blue body with red interior.

I also hear the decals on that kit are pretty garbage.
