It's been a while. Took me forever to finish this wave.

First Snake Teela.

A 2002 inspired Teela after she got mutated by King Hiss. Yeah, another Teela repaint, wheeee!!! At least she comes with new boots and new torso sculpt. The new torso does have a place to hold her sword molded in. That's pretty cool. The head is reused from the Zoar Teela 2 pack.

Another 2002 inspired figure. Probably the weakest of the wave.

Snake Trooper

An unreleased concept figure planned for the original MOTU line. I think the figure was originally supposed to come with Blast Attack's weapon.

Slamurai

Another unreleased concept figure planned for the original MOTU line. The heroic counterpart to Ninjor. Sort of a ninja color reverse of Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow from GI JOE.

Now the good stuff.

Vintage Snake Face vs Origins Snake Face.

The vintage figure has a lever on the back that when you pull it up, snakes come out of his eyes, mouth and shoulders. The Origins figure does this with a head swap. The Origins figure does retain the action feature of opening the panels on his chest to expose two snakes. But you have to open them manually instead of with the lever on back.

My favorite from the wave Dragon Blaster Skeletor.

The Origins figure does have the classic water squirting action feature. Huzzah! Even has the metal chain with little plastic handcuff and padlock. It's all there. Just a great looking figure.

This line is dead around here. I literally haven't seen a new figure on shelves since the Jitsu/Sorceress/Buzz Off/Stratos wave.

Skeletor & Screeech boxed set.

Kind of a cool repaint done to match the colors of the vintage box art. Brand new head sculpt with articulated jaw.

Great color scheme. I also like the one from the Keldor/Kronis set. That Alfredo Alcala head is outstanding.

Screeech vintage vs Origins.

At first glance you would think the Origins Screeech, like Origins Zoar, uses the vintage Big Jim mold. It doesn't but it's VERY close. The biggest change is the softer more rubbery plastic used on the wings. There are also slight sculpting differences on the stand and rocket pack. It's a great set.

I also like the one from the Keldor/Kronis set. That Alfredo Alcala head is outstanding.

I really like the jeweled eyes on that one.

I like the raptor sets, but those soft, silicone-like wings worry me.
