    finally own a 1:64 '66 batmobile

For whatever reason, sort of like trying to find a parking spot at a crowded mall, I could never lay my hands on a 2007 hot wheels batmobile. Refusing to succumb to the horrors of ebay, I would sneak away while my wife and I shopped birthdays for the kids at Toys R Us or weekly shopping for supplies at Target hoping to see the number 15 in the upper right corner. Fully resigned to a life without the 1:64th goodie, I just happened to see out of the corner of my eye a small hot wheels package out of place on the shelves of our Giant grocery store. It was the batmobile. So, on I shopped with my grocery list and kids in tow with a little smile on my face that what should I find but the store's meager little hot wheels display with a second batmobile. So, now I have my nice little unopened package on display by my computer and the other batmobile has been freed from it's bubble and played with by my kids. What a nice day
    It's all good!

Good things come to those who wait, right? I know exactly what you went through. I still haven't seen one in any store yet, or the larger scale one either.

BTW, I'm also a big Underdog cartoon fan

Nice snag. I'm still looking for the 1/50th scale TV Batmobile.

I've been checking Walmart and Target--no luck yet.

Did you know Hotwheels also has a 1966 Batcycle, too? (I haven't found it, either)

They also made a San Diego Comic Con exclusive 3 pack that came with Batgirl's batcycle, but I don't know if it's being sold separately in stores yet.
