Not for me, either. I'll be saving my money. It will be nice not having to drive from store to store, or stress out over whether I'll find them.
I'm content haunting my local thrift stores searching for the OGs! In fact, I recently found the humongous Catacombs play set (minus the furniture) for only $7.99! Perfect decor for Halloween time!

Mattel just released two MH cgi music videos of the dolls. All the gothic spookiness has been pretty well drained out of the property. Not for me but I still hope a new generation of fans will enjoy it.

Yep! I'm all for celebrating diversity, but I don't know why Mattel or Nickelodeon just didn't create all new MH characters with different body types instead of altering the appearances of already established characters. Its like giving a Batman a pot belly or taking away Superman's muscles and making him skinny.

Looks like they are starting to hit stores. In hand pics of Draculaura are hitting twitter. The new stocky bodies are nothing like MH. Out of the package, if you didn't know the doll was supposed to be Draculaura, it could easily pass as just another Rainbow High doll.

Too much Bratz and not enough Monster High. They are stripped of what made MH, MH. They are not gothic. They have no spookiness or edge. They look like any other stocky big headed Bratz copycat out there. And of course, no Ghoulia. I won't be collecting them.

Someone on facebook purchased the new MH coffin bean set from Amazon.ca, and shared the pictures of the box art, and the dolls in the pictures look a lot better than some of the previous leaked photos--especially Clawdeen. I still don't know if I'll be purchasing them when they come out. I guess I'll see how I feel when I actually see them in person in the stores.

It seems they used the same body mold except they used cheaper plastics. They feel lighter than a real MH doll, but that's what makes them so affordable. I'm not disappointed because I knew beforehand they were going to be clones, but I can understand why some people might be upset about the quality if they didn't know. They are worth what I paid for them which came out to be about $5.50 each. At least they're better than the re-boot play line with molded on shoes and tops.

I know some members here like cheap knock-off toys. Well, last week, I took the plunge and ordered these fake Monster Girl dolls from amazon. They arrived today, and I must say I am pleasantly surprised. Of course, they are not the same quality as the real Mattel dolls, but I do feel I got my money's worth for what I paid for 5 dolls for $27 & free shipping. I think the outfits and shoes are super cute for a clone doll. In fact, the outfits I received are better than the ones in the picture. The hair is not that thin at all. I was expecting a huge bald spots like I've seen on some reviews, but they don't (except the white one with her hair in a pony tail I can tell is bald underneath). I originally was going to use these dolls for parts and customs, but now I think I'll leave them the way they are for now. The link below are the ones I ordered, and the price goes up and down, so keep checking for the best price. The Wydowna Spider doll came in her own individual bag.

It's bad enough the changed the characters personalities, voices, appearances and backstories. On top of that, it's also a musical. I'm like, okay, we're done here.

I mean this looks like Disney Zombie or Descendants live action movies, alright but should have stayed in cartoon/animated world.

My Walmart.com Clawdeen arrived yesterday, in good shape. I still haven't seen any of them in stores, but this is the one I needed, so I am good.

I've seen the trailer. It doesn't look good. They really learned nothing from the last failed reboot.
