    Mezco Monster 5 Points playset

Now this is pretty cool. And the price isn't bad, all things considered.

    That's pretty neat!
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

These remind of the monsters Macfarlane did in the late 90's early 2000's cool looking though

I like the concept but there is some debate on if this is going to be all cardboard or not.

For the price, it's going to hurt if it's all cardboard. Some say the accessories are going to be plastic, but the art makes it look like it will be folded cardboard. I guess we'll see.

Even if it is cardboard, the figures are still cheaper than the standard Super 7 offerings at this scale these days, at only $17 a piece. So still not a bad price.

^3.75" scale, so they would be compatible with the Super 7 figures, in scale if not style.

This is true, but with Super 7 you can buy what you want. Mezco seems to be going the route of "buy a set of figures and a cardboard set that you may or may not want" for a higher price point.

The verdict is out on the Batcave. It still hasn't shipped, despite having been solicited over a year ago.

                      But it's probably mostly cardboard.

Neither has Ultraman or Popeye but in the info it lists card playset, I'm beginning to wonder if any of these are going to ship?
