NECA Ultimate 1932 Mummy full reveal!

Wow, do I love this one...but there are a couple issues.

Not thrilled with the open mouth "zombie" head, and no sarcophagus.

NECA have shared out new pics and details for their upcoming Universal Monsters Mummy. The 7 inch scale figure will come with multiple heads, hands and accessories. He's due to drop in December 2021. Check the details below, pics after the break! Universal Monsters Mummy In anticipation of the 90th anniversary of the extraordinary silver-screen...

I agree about the the open mouth zombie head, still looks good.

The weird thing about the Karloff version is he was only shown with the wraps in the beginning of the movie along with his moving hand on the desk, the rest of the time he was dressed in the high priest clothing.

Nice, but I don't like the extra head, either.
WANTED: Dick Grayson SI trousers; gray AJ Mustang horse; vintage RC Batman (Bruce Wayne) head; minty Wolfman tights; mint Black Knight sword; minty Launcelot boots; Lion Rock (pale) Dracula & Mummy heads; Lion Rock Franky squared boots; Wayne Foundation blue furniture; Flash Gordon/Ming (10") unbroken holsters; CHiPs gloved arms; POTA T2 tan body; CTVT/vintage Friar Tuck robes, BBP TZ Burgess Meredith glasses.

Wow, that's nice! No weird paint apps mucking it up like The Wolf Man either. It's so odd that there's so much Imhotep merch, since he's barely in the film with this look. The open mouth doesn't bother me much since there are two alternate heads, but it is an odd way to go, for sure. I wonder if they'll do an Ardeth Bey down the line, and include his more mummified head with the fez for when he changes at the end of the film?

I feel like it would be better for Mego to do a Ardeth Bay figure instead of NECA, that way you'd have a cloth robe and a removeable hat. Assuming of course they still have the Karloff license and still want to squeeze every penny out of it. Alot of folks are complaining about not getting a swanky sarcophagus, but I'll just get a Diamond Select one off eBay later on, same as a lab table for Frankie, since the scale even matches.

I have the Diamond Select sarcophagus, and honestly, both the sculpt and paint are terrible. It will also be too small. The Mummy figure in that set is a little undersized and very, VERY skinny.
