Weird, first the new TRU site redirected you to Target and then a year later to amazon for toy purchases. Now they don't even do that. So, umm yeah, you cannot actually buy toys from toysrus.com. Okey-dokey.

I'm beginning to think they might not be coming back this year to the US.

TRU has been a never ending grift ever since the actual TRU went out of business. People just keep buying/selling the name in order to run new cons all while pretending they’re going to bring back the real TRU... but it’s all been in bad faith. Same thing that’s happened for even longer with KB*Toys. Remember when that guy got everyone to report about how he was bringing KB back to retail a couple years ago... and he didn’t even own the name.

It’s a disgrace. Shame that the Canadian TRU company wasn’t allowed to buy the US TRU (because the venture capitalists who took over TRU made more money running TRU out of business than actually trying to make it profitable) because we could have saved TRU and it would have experienced a revival in a big way. Sigh.
