Hasbro Marvel 3.75" Action Figures at Walgreen's

Are these rare or desirable? I saw them at Walgreen's for $3.99 each. Great price, and I almost bought them, but I didn't like the modern outfits on some. Take Thor, for example: the artwork doesn't match the figure. I like the old school uniform better. I don't think I would recognize him out of the package.

Never seen these before. Look like Dollar Store figures.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

Those have been showing up at Family Dollar/Dollar General. There cheep Marvel figures for people who cannot afford to spend $20 a figure.

They did feel a little light-weight. Maybe made of a cheaper plastic than the ones that come on the blister card. They had a Hulk, too.

Mint in Baggy! They remind me of this.

LOL I like the budget aspect of it because not everyone wants to keep them mint on card. If its cheaper to put them in a baggie to keep costs down, then I'm all for it because I'm just going to open it and take them out and display them anyway. Hasbro should offer these figures both ways: Blister cards for collectors, and plastic baggies for the more "budget conscious" consumer. I just wish they offered more of their other 3.75" figures this way.

I have seen 4" to 5" style figures of Marvel and Star Wars like this at Dollar General/Family Dollar for about $4-$5 a piece. Not bad looking figures for the price. The limited paint apps remind me a bit of Pocket Super Heroes and even Secret Wars.

There's been something similar for DC, too. Slightly more spiffy.
WANTED: Dick Grayson SI trousers; gray AJ Mustang horse; vintage RC Batman (Bruce Wayne) head; minty Wolfman tights; mint Black Knight sword; minty Launcelot boots; Lion Rock (pale) Dracula & Mummy heads; Lion Rock Franky squared boots; Wayne Foundation blue furniture; Flash Gordon/Ming (10") unbroken holsters; CHiPs gloved arms; POTA T2 tan body; CTVT/vintage Friar Tuck robes, BBP TZ Burgess Meredith glasses.
