Why did this need a kickstarter? Todd has enough money to play with Barry Bonds' balls, but can't afford to make an action figure when he OWNS A TOY COMPANY!?Looking for Green Arrow accessories, Doctor Who Sonic Screwdriver, and Japanese Popy Megos (Battle Cossack and France, Battle of the Planets, Kamen Rider, Ultraman) and World Heroes figures -

His goal was $100,000, and he's made over 1.3 million. He explains in a video why he started the Kickstarter. Easier to get them in the hands of the people who want them. He made over a million dollars in less than two days. He could have made the figure without the Kickstarter. I'm sure he's selling way more than if he just made it and sent it to stores. He sold over ten thousand figures and he's got twenty four days to go!Comment

It is frustrating to go to a Walmart or Target and 9 out of 10 you can't find what you want or looking at shelves that are never refilled and knowing they could care less. This may be the way from now forward with things like Hasbro Pulse and the like.Comment

I'm not a Spawn fan, but this is just smart business. Knowing exactly how many you are going to sell ahead of time eliminates almost all of the risk, plus he's cutting out the middle man (retailers), who probably wouldn't be stocking a $40 action figure in huge numbers anyway. Seems like a win-win situation for him and his fans.Comment

the end tally was over 3 million. very impressive. I did pledge and wasn't expecting this because I didn't think Spawn was much of a thing to fans these days.Comment
