Yes, but the level of detail does not look Mego-y at all, IMO. And well it shouldn't at that price-point. For the same reason, I suspect the construction and articulation of the underlying figure body will be nothing like a Mego, either.

It's too bad- I'd be all over truly Mego-like 8" Star Wars at a Mego-like price.

I was wondering the same thing. Mego Vader should not be 8".

I assumed (and could be wrong) that Vader is 8 inches because it is a 6 inch line of figures.

For $80 I'd hope for a little more polish. The cape is only partially hemmed, and his "chaps" are just cut fabric. I'd rather pay $20 more for a Bossart level figure.

According to this article on February 6, Darth Vader is likely to be 10.98" long. I could not track down the listing on walmart.com however.

I agree. The cape is supposed to have a strip along the bottom, and the helmet seems off to me somehow. For $80 they need to do better.
