yeah i noticed some stores are dropping prices faster than a hookers pants

also the other day at tesco i saw who stuff, transformers, lord of the ring, harry potter, all discounted to prices that almost made me brake a sweat

i didnt budge on that pocket as i dont like all this new crap but the prices were in my target zone, was very hard to resist (misses dragged me away)

        Giant Daleks...
        Cool!

Are they bigger than, let's say, "life-size" ones?

What is it with wives and girlfriends? Dragging us away from toy stores...

Don't they understand the need of adult intelligent responsible men to have tons of action figures?

I think we should drag them in toy stores and treat them the same way they do us when we "have" to go clothes shopping with them...imagine your wife or girlfriend sat there bored but unable to leave while you hold 2 figures up saying...so what one do you think is better....does my shelf look big with this figure?....Which varient do you think looks nicer....
                  That'll teach em...

And every morning, when they are all groggy and sleepy, we'll start asking questions.
Do you think I should have Mego Spidey fight Hulk this morning, or Thor?
                        Won't Spidey's colours clash with Hulk's green?
Are all my carded figures hanging straight? Are you sure?

And when you're finally going out the door, go back in saying "I still think I prefer Spidey fighting Thor. Let me go change those two figures...
                        .
                        .
                        .
"When things are at their darkest, it's a brave man that can kick back and party."

i came to the conclusion long ago that women who go clothes and shoe shopping is just like a mans toy collection
id have thought that women would make great toy collectors

mint unused items - we rarely tend to touch our toys once purchased, a woman will wear the dress once, then it gathers dust in her collection... sound familiar... very simular

price tags still on - i always find a garment in the wardrobe with a tag on, the misses will then say, oh ive had that for ages and never wore it, yeah right then i find the reciept in a draw stashed away with yestadays date on it. lots of our old toys still have the tags left on, good job is though they wont know when we bought it... simular

multiples - they have clothes and shoes that i couldnt tell one from the other and she will have a same top in every colour! and im always looking out for toy variants but i cant tell some of the misses dresses apart... again very simular

so are we all in agreement the next time your misses or mister "hello!" buys them self a new outfit or pair of shoes we buy ourself another toy

                          its basicly the same thing

                            My wife collects teddy bears.
And miniature cats from the Peter ***an Colour Box line.

Thank God for that. Makes me feel a bit less guilty...

Never feel guilty....use that female trick of bringing up something from the past to justify it...lol....well I bought myself this 'cos you shouted at me 3 weeks ago and I was feeling low...lol...or Well you bought yourself some shoes/tops/skirt/earings etc so I treated myself too.
Then you hide the bill and say "It was in a sale ...I just had to get it at that price" and tell her the approx half price of what was spent...
