Over the last couple of days I've been scouring Woolworths for Dr Who gift sets.....they are down from £40 to £30...but when I went to pay for one it rang up at £20!!!! so went back today and same thing ...wahoooo
Got a series 2 set which has Doctor, K9, blasted cyberman, blue clockwork man, ood and grey Krillatine.
and series 3 set with Martha, Doctor, Judoon trooper, Lileth, Dalek They damaged and Scarcrow.
Thats 12 figures for £40
going looking for more tomorrow...
I miss Woolworth's in the USA. I have fond memories of not only buying my original Star Wars figures there, but also every Halloween getting our Ben Cooper costumes there as well.
The Dr Constatine is a superb sculpt and paint job....he has 2 heads (gas mask and without)...rubberised hands which makes holding accesories easier and the detail...even the red welts behind the gas mask are there...very impressive.
The Doctor Who figures are made really well.
I love the detail...and most of the head sculpts are spot on
considering the are so small...well smaller than Mego's
Just thought of something, the 12in martha jones figure would make a great rose figure if the outfit is placed on another female figure. Does anyone here make a good rose head that could be used on a 12 in barbie or martha figure? shoot me an email if you make one or know of someone who can.
p.s. I head that the 12 inch line of figures have been discontinued. :o(
