    Gentle Giant Jumbo Super Powers

loving these big guys ,modded supes to have his cape clip sit at the sides more like the kenner one

and repainted one a little more comic bookish and fit a more comic book looking cape and attachment,
really happy with everything about these figures ,except the price maybe lol over £100 or $130 to get them to the uk ,so my offer to buy still stands if anyone has buyers remorse or just want to clear some space for more vintage ,shoot me a line

I have mixed feelings on the GG jumbos. They really hit you with the nostalgia but are grossly overpriced for what they are and it's very disappointing they removed the knee joints from the SP figures. They are still nice looking figures and it's totally worth it if you can get them on heavy discount.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

That's exactly how I feel...the Jakks DC Big Figs are essentially the exact same toy, even bigger, but only a third of the price.

yeah i get you over the price ,yeah jaks do a brilliant job at over half the price and half as big again 18inches ,but these are a dream come to life for me ,im still blown away when ever i walk into the room and see them ,the packaging is fantastic ,its like they are mounted ready for wall display like something from a modern art gallery

by which i mean a great garcia lopez art representation of a iconic dc hero ,one side and a almost perfect 3d representation of the said hero on the other ,sealed in a nicely sturdy acrylic display case that mimics the original classic packaging
and collector friendly so you can open and remove at no detriment to the packaging ,

its pretty mind blowing when you really think about it over 30 years after the toy line original debuted

i hope we see green lantern and aquaman at some point ,anyone know if this line is now dead or are more coming

That's so cool! Bonnie is adorable.

I love the Kenner SP figures too. My all time favorite toy versions of the DC characters.

ha ha thanks mate shes the love of my life

we have 5 dogs now and have had lots of 4 legged friends in my 60 years of roaming this planet and i can honestly say ive never enjoyed a dog as much as i enjoy owning bonnie

how we usually sleep me useing bonnie as a pillow

anyway im bonnie drunk so away from espousing the merits of dog ownership and back on topic i picked up a few of the the mini figures ,
the online pictures i saw make them look terrible ,but in hand unmagnified they look okay ,

about the same size as they look in the kenner catalogues and posters that came with the vehicles and play set

apologies for the wonky picture orientation

but for $4 each i guess there not too bad ,supes even has his s on his cape

That's like comparing Famous Covers to Megos. The differences are a mile wide to collectors like myself.

Do I like that GG Jumbos are $90? No.
But they are damn well done and if they were $40-50 I'd own more than a few.

I haven't seen any New figures for 2017. So I'm not holding my breath for Aquaman or a Secret Wars Electro.

I'm wondering how I missed the Micro-SP Superman... Is Wal-mart offering him? I've been waiting for another wave of those since the first. Green Lantern is the one I want the most.

Those jumbo's look great but the price tag scares me away.

I've only seen that at Walgreens.

I only have Superman and Batman so far, but I really love this line and am glad I got into it early enough to nab those two. I'm still kicking myself for missing out on GG's farmboy Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader--they're going for like $400 now. Well, you snooze, you lose.

I've still never seen one in person. But I'll pull the trigger on Robin.
