Has anyone taken any pics with the droids next to MEGO customs? The accessory figures (droids, ewok, yoda) all look to be more in 1:9 scale than the stylized 1:6 ish that the main characters are.

Apparently there have been some rumors about the future of this line, or rather the lack of it, due to the first wave clearance prices. Nothing new shown at Toy Fair but Bleeding Cool reports the line is not dead. The previously announced figures like Ashoka and Padme are coming and they say more figures will be announced after "assessing" some things. Hopefully the line will continue. Hasbro/Disney was looking to build this into other merchandise like Mattel did with DC Super Hero Girls so I don't see them giving up on it too easily.Comment

The line was shown at Toy Fair but nothing new.You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...Comment

I honestly barely paid any attention to these until I was on the Hasbro website and saw the Luke and Yoda two pack. I'm not totally convinced I would buy some of these, but the Luke and Yoda figures sparked my interest a bit. It comes down to the fact that I really have to thread carefully with my collecting dollar and there are other things Star Wars related or otherwise I would rather have more than these as they do look maybe a little bit too much on the kiddish side.Comment

The line would be more popular if they would stop shoving females down our throat with Mary Sue leading the way. Boys don't want or buy girl dolls. That fact will always be true..
Perhaps start doing Han Solo and the rest of the gang instead of making almost all "barbie" Starwars dolls, because that is what they are.Comment

More importantly, Forces of Destiny was specifically designed and marketed for girls. There may be some crossover appeal, and if Luke and Chewie do well, who knows what characters will be added. Is the line officially dead?
Regardless, there are comparably-scaled figures in the "boy's aisle" in a wider range of characters.
One approach, rather than denigrating female fans and customers, might be to contact the manufacturer and request more 1/6
male characters from the original trilogy.
