Kit Bashed Boba Fett w/Missle Launching

I'd always been a big fan of the figure ever since seeing the photo on the display isle at Sears and in the catalogs. Then seeing them on the back of the mail away offer. Always wanted one and even tried to get Vince Viard to make one but seems he only made a handful before retiring. Then I took it upon myself to procure the pieces that were utilized to kit bash the figure and use magic sculpt to finish the rest. Bought the pieces but never got around to finishing it. Still sitting there. Then I get an email from this guy who created a website to showcase that he is offering a real version of the figure since I doubt Hasbro will ever make it available to the public.

Here are the videos he's posted on his FB page:

what were the kit bashed parts? I think I recall DS Trooper legs, and something about a 3po body was used in the mockup.

Oh, I am so in for this! THAT is the figure I wanted. I remember receiving the Boba figure, and not being so much disappointed that the rocket didn't fire, but disappointed that the overall look differed from that of the kitbash prototype.

Is he saying anything about price at this point?

Waiting to hear back on price. Looks to be factory made, too.

Wow! that is a buch of figures for the prototype mockup. Awesome to see all the parts and what was sculpted on top.
I like the modern version, tho it seems to be missing the paint op just above the eyeslot in the helmet. It needs those for the Mandalorian vibe.

That's very cool. I didn't realize that the proto even included the cloak. To this day, the 12" SW figure I miss most if the incredibly detailed Boba Fett.
WANTED: Dick Grayson SI trousers; gray AJ Mustang horse; vintage RC Batman (Bruce Wayne) head; minty Wolfman tights; mint Black Knight sword; minty Launcelot boots; Lion Rock (pale) Dracula & Mummy heads; Lion Rock Franky squared boots; Wayne Foundation blue furniture; Flash Gordon/Ming (10") unbroken holsters; CHiPs gloved arms; POTA T2 tan body; CTVT/vintage Friar Tuck robes, BBP TZ Burgess Meredith glasses.

Ah, I just received an email from him also. He's the guy who did the rocket firing Fett repro that I own. His stuff is pretty good. I'll be down for one of these for sure.

This is the same person that did the unpainted J and L slot Fett repros that shipped in the mailer boxes? He made some good stuff.

He does great work. I've had one of his grey repros on my shelf for some time. Here's another video he posted of the rocket firing: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r7Pt...ature=youtu.be

Mine arrived today. LOVE this guy. Now we just need the light blue painted one as seen on the back of the card.

                              Here's a family photo.

The initial run of 300 with the enamel Fett "Star Tot" has sold out, but if I know this seller, these will soon be all over eBay in perpetuity. It was tough to swallow the $83, but this was something I'd wanted, well, since I first heard of Boba Fett. I'm really proud to own it.
