Man, Cap (and Iron Man) are both getting some special treatment in the designs dept. over the past few years. Happy to see production figures look so good.Comment

amazing what Mezco can do in this scale. Even more amazing is that no one can do anything near as good in Mego scale. The EMCE Cap looks sick in comparison. You must try to generate happiness within yourself. If you aren't happy in one place, chances are you won't be happy anyplace. -Ernie BanksComment

I'm trying to figure out the differences between the Con Exclusive and regular version. No wings, lighter, baggier suit, brown details on gloves and boots?
Commander Rogers looks cool as well for those that dig Winter Soldier movie stealth look. Wish he'd come with a masked head.

Point being, it appears our niche collector base is a split market between those who prefer the classic, more simple Mego-style, and those who also appreciate a more detailed modern figure in the platform. Sometimes I think Mego collectors are our own worst market enemies. I also think that Mezco's choice of popular superhero characters to launch this line gives 'em juice (visibility & interest) that others don't have… likey a whole bunch of non-Mego collectors who will buy these as they are represented formally with base/stand, more so a posable statue.Comment

I'm not so sure that's really accurate, meaning Mezco is creating these in a modern SS/HT style, which seems to hit a nerve with some (half?) Mego collectors. In addition, we've seen EMCE (monsters) and NECA (horror/POTA/H8/etc.) offer more detail which some of us love, while others dispel as it's "not-Megoey enough."
