I'm happy for BBP and anyone who enjoys BBT, but I find it a little ironic and irksome that these are being made, and Funko couldn't get us a Chekov to round out the TOS crew. I know, I know, sculpt quality. But still...

they always leave out Stuart most times anyways, but I was pleasantly surprised to see that he got a figure in a two pack with Sheldon. Nice that they got the Comic Store diorama.

I'm also annoyed that BBT (which irks me in its own right, but that's another story) gets more Star Trek parody figures like this, but the actual real deal cloth retro Star Trek figures from EMCE can't seem to muster up enough sales in the 50th anniversary year to justify making any more.

I guess it comes down to this: in the 50th anniversary year of Star Trek, bad parodies of Star Trek (like this and Into Darkness, for instance) apparently do better than the real thing.

Do I sound a little cynical?

I know. Stuart is not just a guest character anymore, he's a regular cast member now, they should give him more respect.

To me, Stuart and Howard are the funniest...

I think they have been at a bit of a loss as to what to do with Stuart since Howard's mother passed away. They struck some comedy gold when the comic store burned down and discovered the wonderful friction between Howard and Stuart as a result, but the untimely passing of the actress who voiced Howard's mother put an end to that development. He's since gone back to his "8th Wheel" role, but with the other four male cast members now in relationships, I would imagine Stuart's attempts to date would be the obvious direction for him to take since that has been exclusively Raj's turf for so long now.
