    Funko POP classic Strawberry Shortcake.

I've avoided the POP series so far. These will be harder to resist. It's awesome they come with their pets and that they are scented.

Funko is proud to announce its partnership with Strawberry Shortcake! Since her introduction in 1980, Strawberry Shortcake has appeared on greeting cards, sti
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

Our LCS has a huge display of POPs as you walk into the store. I have a feeling Cindy will be throwing one of these on the comic pile each visit!

It's a smart, needed move to add the scented gimmick. While my daughters were never exposed to Strawberry Shortcake old or new and are, in their mind, too old for toys they've come to like some of Pop! vinyl themes. As a family (off the top of my head) we have various Star Wars, Universal Monsters, Anime, The Phantom The Ghost Who Walks, DC, Marvel, Disney Princess (Big Hero 6, Frozen), Game of Thrones, Walking Dead, Ghostbusters and Minion themed Pops!

I know to many I have a minority opinion about the way Pop! vinyls look, sometimes I wish they were more faithful representing the characters they're supposed to look like. I mean, sometimes they nail it like the Minion theme, but more often than not the human characters look all the same, which is why I tend to collect the Funko mini's more than the standard size Pops. I realize that's part of the charm, however.

I agree with that. I'm really put off by the lack of mouths on many of these. It just weirds me out.
