Our Wal-Mart finally got Dark Knight, Iron Man, Indy, and Hulk toys. Pretty well stocked in Indys and they even had the mark 1 Iron Man and Iron Monger. BUT no 6" Joker, despite the fact that they had tons of the regular 6" Batman and Joker goon. So there were several cases there, but all Jokers were gone. This Wal-Mart is usually pretty scalper-free, but I guess the allure of hocking dead celbrity stuff makes all sorts of creeps crawl out.

Got the 6" Batman though. Very nice!

      yer right dudes.
I'm havin' a rough time deciding if I should buy the new Indy figures.
Some look good, others are hurtin.

I have some of the vintage ones.

Do I try to complete the vintage set, or just make Indy Mego Customs?

Our local Wal-Mart's finally had a very small section of the new Batman: Dark Knight toys on Friday afternoon. They had a few action figures but they were mostly Batman. I looked at them and I decided to pass since they were about nine dollars (the new Hulk figures are about ten dollars). I was at Wal-Mart's to shop for Mother's Day anyway. I'll wait to pick up a figure when they hit the sale rack or in a couple of years when I can pick up a loose one at the local thrift store.

I got to tell you I really like the 12 inch deluxe Batman figure (with stand) that runs roughly $30.00 at TRU. Appearances can be deceptive because it reads somewhat like the 12" Batman with expanding cape, but actually it's a must better figure than that and when I got him out of the package, even my wife fell in love with him. I think when they make them this good, I tend to stay away from the pricey Takara figures. Worth your money if you want a quality figure for a descent price. Just my humble opinion.

Here's a review if your interested... Great pics too.
