I would have liked this better as a set, perhaps with a Janet Leigh figure? He already has the knife...

If they're doing a directors line, I'd like to order a John Carpenter. He can direct my Snake Plissken.

I like the idea of this, but in other pictures I've seen, it just isn't up to what we expect of a 1/6 scale figure. It looks like Sideshow did this 10 years ago.

And I know it won't happen anytime soon, at least with Carol Serling still around, but a Rod Serling figure would be great to have.

        Yep, exactly.

10 years ago, this would have been a $40.00 figure.

The likeness just isn't there to justify the high end price tag.

I'll wait for the Mel Brooks figure.

Cool idea, but $185? Yeah, no thanks!

That gets me to thinking how many directors have had action figures made of them? Of the top of my head I can think of: Quentin Tarantino, Andy Warhol (I know, "director" might be kind of stretching it, but he did make films), Charlie Chaplin (it was more of a doll of him dressed as the Little Tramp, but still..). There has also been a couple little figurines of Akira Kurosawa sold in Japan, but no action figures to my knowledge. Am I missing anyone? Did someone make a George Lucas figure?
