2 kids review DC Superhero Girls

By pretty much every measurement the DC Super Hero Girls line has been a smashing success. I’ve already written about just how important I think this line is, but what do I know? I’m a guy pushing 50.
So I went to the experts: Two young girls, whose Dad is a friend of mine. Gabriela and Lucia Sloane are prerty much exactly whom DC and Mattel are looking for. They’re 10 and 8, respectively, and both are really into superheroes, in particular the Supergirl TV show and the Avengers flicks.
Gabriela and Lucia readily agreed to review the 12-inch figures that are included in the line.

My daughter is sadly not into these as I thought she would be. She's way too Lego-obsessed. But maybe constant exposure will rub off. She's watched the toons and read the first book and got the Free Comic Book day comic. Just not into the dolls.

I myself like the smaller figures. Bumble-bee seems to be the peg-warmer, but I think she's fantastic.

We got my daughter the 12" Harley and Bumble Bee, and the 6" inch BB, so, you know, she could shrink. They're very well made, much sturdier than Monster High dolls. I'm sure we'll get more eventually.

I love that you thought of that, it made me a little misty actually.

            Katana looks terrific.

Mine have all the 6 inch ones. They find the dolls, off-kilter. "Too Monster High" as I've been told. If they were more Barbie-esque...different story.

My girl is 10 and loves these. She has all of them except Harley and she plays with the every day. Great figures for girls.

Actually, my kid and I thought of it independently of each other. So she deserves at least half the credit for it.

I've got only the Monster High-ish scale ones. Don't have Harley or Bumblebee yet. Wonder Woman is hardly ever on the shelf at any of the Targets I frequent. They must be doing well. Supergirl would be, in my experience, the 2nd most popular character due to her disappearance on shelves.
