New classic Star Trek Kirk, Spock and Uhura Barbies

I think they look really nice.

You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

Totally! These look awesome. The Kirk is giving me a real Filmation vibe.

Sure wish they'd release that enterprise bridge display those figures are posed with.

You know, I bought my daughter the Batman V Superman ones for her birthday and the quality of those figures surprised the heck out of me.

I have to give to give Mattel a lot of credit. No one beats them in quality in this low of a price point. You are getting collector grade dolls for a very reasonable $34.99.

I saw the B vs S ones at Six Flags this past Saturday for the first time and I was kinda surprised I liked them so much. These look nice as well.

These look really good overall. I have 2 sets of the last Barbie Star Trek Ken & Barbie offerings out of box and loose, but these look way better, of course they ought to since they're based on the Star Trek characters and K&B again. FWIW, Spock and Uhura look excellent, but the Kirk one doesn't look as sharp compared to them.

Classic Uhura Nichelle Nichols will display very nice next to my JJ Abrams Zoe Saldana one.

Fewer companies make dolls as nice as Mattel. I remember working at TRU during the 90s and being impressed by the expensive Disney Figures we locked away as Security workers. (I hope someday Mattel makes an Ingrid Bergman Barbie to stand next the other silver screen starlets: Grace Kelly and Audrey Hepburn. )

I love'em Kirk and Spock look fine, but the Uhura is right on mint, looks exactly like Nichols.
great job on the likenesses of these.

I am impressed. The previous ST Ken & Barbie for the 30th anniversary were okay, but not really amazing. These ones look great, and Uhura looks absolutely amazing! Best likeness of her ever. Wonder what Nichelle Nichols will think of it?

I agree. Uhura is dead on. Spock is pretty good. But Kirk looks a bit off.

                      Is this the Saldana one?

I got to get me one of those!

I think Kirk's hairline is too low. That's what is really throwing the Shatner vibe off.

But Spock and especially Uhura are really nice!

To me, Kirk looks like a much-younger Shatner, as a teen or at the Academy.
