Fifth Element Leeloo: Why no Sideshow or Hot Toys of her?

I've seen some customs of her on eBay...but terribly overpriced and not that great.

Man, if they ever release the lovely Milla Jovovich as Leeloo one day, I'm buying it.

You guys know any other company that makes a decent Leeloo?

Anyone done a Leeloo custom figure?

I've bought a couple of resin model kits (1:6 scale) of her, but none of the action figures are even close. I'd buy a decent one in a heartbeat.

The answer to the thread question is because too many lusty fanboys' heads would explode with glee.

Funko made two figures of her for their ReAction line.

I personally love 5th Element, but I think they might struggle getting enough buyers. A lot of people might not even know the movie.
But I would definitely be interested, not just in Leeloo. Lots of fun aliens, too, especially the Mercs.

But sideshow and Hot Toys make some frivolous characters I've never heard off myself...or nice characters that are not necessarily hip with the current young market...for example...Steve McQueen as Captain Virgin Hilts from the Great Escape...

Don't get me wrong, that's a wonderful figure...and I love me some Steve McQueen...but is he more popular than Leeloo with the typical SIDESHOW/Hot Toys collector geek? I don't think so.

If they were to release a limited edition run of 1500 figures or less, I guarantee you Leeloo would sell out quick.

          I bloody want Leeloo, dammit...

I wonder if likeness is the issue, Funko kind of skirts likeness with the Retroaction figures. The Corben Dallas is especially generic.

                Agreed ^^^^^^

This custom is not bad at all...but still not quite there, the hair could use some improvement, close though...

Seen a particular seller offer these on eBay...but his starting prices are always $299...an immediate pass from me. Now imagine an even better figure with box and accessories from Sideshow/Hot Toys for $220...I'm so there...

I would buy that custom Leeloo, but certainly not for $299...more like $75...

Is it possible the actress doesn't want the figure made? Without her likeness what would be the point?

The odd thing is that the custom figure looks more like Milla than that officially released Hot Toys one...but then again, Milla was older when she played Alice...

That custom has a good face sculpt, but yeah, the hair is rather crude in comparison. They'd save a lot of money on fabrics, though...

Browsing and lurking through various action figure forums...I came across this custom Milla Jovovich, holy smokes...looks just like Milla, dead on...

Wow, that one is better than this officially released Milla Hot Toys Resident Evil Alice...

The customizer of that first figure should get immediately hired by Sideshow and Hot Toys...
