Yesterday at Wal- Mart I found and bought Jakks 20" BvS movie Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman and the Classic Blue grey Batman and Flash! Only $20 each! Much better deal than $20 6" figures! Cannot wait for Classic Superman and females Jakks will be doing! Classic DC do remind me of Super Powers! Is there a BvS 20" armored Batman? I also have 15 Jakks 18" Star Wars and will be looking for Rey! I hope Hasbro tmakes more 20" Marvel figures

Picked up the Flash at our local Wal-Mart. What a gorgeous figure for $20! These capture the essence of the Super Powers, classic Bronze Age DC heroes, and you can get 4 of these for the price of one Gentle Giant SP repro figure.

I passed over Batman because they just had the all black one, and I'm holding out for the Blue/Gray. With space at a premium, I'll wait.

Scott "Toy Guru" Neitllich talks about these and other Jakks toys in this video. The part I'm most excited about is that he confirmed there will be female figures in the Classic DC line. Which is great because I really wanted a classic Super Powers style Wonder Woman to go along with Superman, Batman, The Flash, and Green Lantern.

I'm seeing a few of these showing up on eBay for twice their worth. Hoping to find a Batman and Superman at Target. Jakes lists them as a retailer but they haven't shown up at my local target yet.

I definitely want the blue Batman (and a Robin). I just hope these show up here. We typically don't have much luck finding these types of figures in the stores.

These remind me a bit of the Hamilton Presents large figures too, but are surprisingly more articulated! They had that Super Powers vibe too, but of course they came out 2 or 3 years after SP.

What makes a difference to me is that with these DC characters, they still resemble their 80's vintage line counterpart---Super Powers, in this case.

I don't know why, but just like the Super Powers ART-FX static figures (that are also a bit more detailed than the Super Power line whose logo adorns their packaging), I can display these Jakks 18" DC and still feel a "Super Powers" vibe, whereas I can't say the same for the other Jakks franchise licences, Star Wars being the main example. I need the Gentle Giant vintage Jumbos for that line.

Dang...kinda makes me regret getting into the ART-FX Super Powers 8-inch statue line.

Seeing they've already made a Supes, Bats and Flash THAT nice for THAT cheap is quite troubling (in a good way!).

Exactly, it's not the size, it's the complexity of the design and the amount of parts used to make it. A 6 inch or 3 3/4 inch SW black series figures have way more articulation than the jumbo Jakks figures and are made of dozens of tiny parts.
