One of the very few 90s properties, like Power Rangers, that is still going strong.

Ok, I admit it, I love Pikachu. So cute! I played the heck out of Yellow when it came out. Even bought the import because I couldn't wait for a possible US release. Not easy playing games in Japanese back in the age of AOHell dial up.

A couple of years back I saw these 20 year old hipsters with beards buying Pokemon plush, my initial thought was "Creepy" and then it dawned on me they were probably 5 when Pokemon came out. The rest of the day was spent feeling very old.

Hard to believe, and yes, it's proof that we are all getting very, very old. I remember seeing ads for it all the time on Kids WB when Superman animated was on...but that was 20 years ago too!!!
