hi tom
to the best of my knowledge ,they are around the 6 inch marvel legends scale ,not bought any of this company's output before but these look too good to pass up on
hers a link to the sideshow boards thread where i first saw them ,maybe more info about them and the other output of this company ,hope this helps
cheers chris
perhaps supes wont be so angry looking now hes got wonder woman around lol .
these all look great looking forward to seeing them all posed together ,didnt hold out much hope for wonder woman looking too good but wow they did pull it off by the looks of this
got mine in this week supes broken in the tray :thud::gah:,to be fair it could have been due to rough handling by customs inspection ,£31 duty :gah:,batman has missing accessories, just emailed hobby link japan and sent pictures
gutted to have paid so much for them to arrives so ****ed up
did some digging and heres what i think the problem was ,
along with the poor plastic that it seems they used
this is the hip section with the hip joints ,removed from the rubbery trunk covering
as you can hopefully see the attachement point where it broke is very flimsy
and i suspect that when the assembled part was glued into the trunk section the glue ran and stuck the front hip joint and froze it ,this would be the figures left leg .which would account for all the reported leg breaks ive seen being the one on the left ,same as mine
well at least i have a idea now how to repair it if hlj don't play nice :lol
hell i might just do it for the hell of it ,they are super nice figures and i wont get my customs fee returned and replacements would probably be as bad and id have to pay another £31 customs charge ,so a partial refund and fix it up would probably be the best solution for me anyway
okay after being offer 25%refund ,deductible against future orders :thud:
ive fixed supes as best i can .got a doner bar bell from a mattel man of steel mm figure
cut off the extra ball
fitted the hips ball sockets on each end
detached the ball joint from the leg and fitted the trunk section in place
and reattached the leg to the ball section
so far so good :lol then got the original hip and waist section and cut out the middle with the broken part
then fitted it back in place over the new hip joint
then glued it in place and replaced the upper body he now stands and has reasonable range of movement ,
for anyone wondering heres the mafex head on the mattel figure
repaired supes with basic mattel wonder woman just repainted the gold so far ,might try porting parts over to a better articulated body ,not sure lol
stood up straight and with icons flash ,match well size wise to my eye
still loving these figures,in spite of their qc problems ,picked up a mattel batmobile ,im not a car guys so im not totally sure but i think it scales slightly small for the mafex figures but sort of passes off ok ,this one has been modded with lights and the guns removed ,its a typical mattel squashed down compacted version ,but for the money could maybe work with a bit more work done to it
