Anyone remember Exclusive Premiere toy company?

Does anyone remember the toy company Exclusive Premiere? They made a lot of toys based on popular properties including James Bond.

They did excellent Dr. No, Goldfinger and Spy Who Loved Me Figures. There Tomorrow Never Dies figures weren't that great though.

Oh yeah, I had a bunch of those: Laurel & Hardy, Happy Days, Gilligan's Island, Dules of Hazzard, Beverly Hillbillies, It's A Wonderful Life, 3 Stooges, Munsters ...
I sold most of them off years ago. They were pretty nice, all in all. They were tough for me to collect, since a bunch of them were Target exclusives, and I'm a couple of hours from the closet Target. Kinda wish I'd kept them, actually.

Loved the fact they did Jackie Gleason (Honeymooners) and Blues Brothers figures.

Not a big fan of their final products --- but AAAAA+++++ on their effort.

I was going to get the Abbott and Costello Who's On First figures but they seemed overpriced.

Not sure if they were exclusives

They did manage to cover a lot of different licenses.
Wasn't it the Jackie Gleeson figure that did them in? The family didn't like the look of the figure and sued, EP lost and didn't have proper insurance..... ?

Like others, I liked the concept over the execution, over all. They suffered from hands the size of country hams, much like Playmates 9" Trek line.

These came out in 1997 and EP had a TON of licenses! I thought it was the new Mego for the 90s!

They were $20 each which was HIGH then. I remember Jackie Gleason's estate sued EP over inferior Honeymooners likenesses which weren't that bad. The figures were pretty good, Daisy Duke was terrible. We never got all 7 Gilligan castaways. EP soon went out of business.

Thanks goodness for FTC! And EMCE, BBP, etc! Mego still lives!

I couldn't get over the hands and the packaging.

EP was started by a former Mego employee, he was the same person responsible for all the Pin Pin stuff ending up at TRU in the early 80s.

The Gleason estate sued over the poor quality of the figures ( all the Ralph figures have threading all over them).

Think they also did TV Western Heroes --- I remember seeing a Matt Dillon

Also they did a Brady Bunch

These and the famous covers brought me back into collecting Megos.

I bought the Babylon 5 and Buffy figures because they reminded me of Megos.

The only one I have is James West, Robert Conrad from the Wild Wild West. I kept hoping they would do Artemus Gordon & Dr. Loveless, but no.

There were country music ones too. I see those at the flea markets all the time. Randy Travis, Leann Rimes, & Alan Jackson.
