People were paying upwards of a thousand dollars for the Iminime Freedom Warrior figure, and I don't like it as much as I do this one.

The head alone can set you back $300.00.

By comparison, this figure is an absolute steal.

The day I pay $300 for a head, it had better be a real one!

Even though I love these 1/6 figures, I still think $200 is a lot of money. With international shipping (and often import taxes) it easily goes up to $300...
And a thousand dollars for a newly released action figure is just crazy.

I collect the ACI Toys gladiators. I could never afford to buy one complete (MIB), so I slowly bought one piece at a time from Chinese sellers, always going for the low bid and being patient. I now have three complete ones, each costing me around $70 in total. It was hard work, took me a couple of years, but it fit my budget.
I do find it ironic that a lot of us can no longer afford to buy a complete action figure...

Yeah, the 1:6 collecting hobby has gotten ridiculously expensive. Now anything under $200.00 seems like a bargain.

I have a couple of the Conan sets and one of the Gladiator ones, and KP's just knocking them out of the park. Don't get me wrong--I love ACI, as well, but I'm a total KP fanboy.
