NYCC 2015 Go Hero 1/6th Red Sonja, Eartha Kitt, Julie Newmar, Deathdealer, Lady Death

The Trifecta of Executive Replicas, Phicen Limited and Go Hero were at NYCC 2015 with licensed and original designer collectibles on display. These collectibles go well above what you'd expect out of a statue. Each piece is highly detailed, with "real" hair and accessories that really make each offering POP! Some interesting license-skirting going on with those Adam West figures...

The Adam West figures are way off. This could be anybody.
Caroline Munro is close, but not perfect.
A nice surprise to see Vincent Price and Boris Karloff.

That sculpt looks absolutely nothing like Julie Newmar.

Executive Replicas/GoHero figures are always way over-priced. I always wait for them to be marked down for clearance.

Stan,Boris and Vincent look pretty good, not feeling it with West or Newmar, she might look better
if she had the mask on, Kitt doesn't look all that bad actually.

Out of all of these, I'd go for Vincent Price. This man deserves more figures.

I'd be up for Red Sonja, but they need a more realistic shade of red for the hair and a more realistic scale mail look for the armor. Luckily, they're still tinkering with her and seem to be listening to the fans.

That's good to hear. Curious to see the changes.

That Bette Page figure would be tough to explain to the wife.

The theme for this year's NYCC seemed to have been "close enough" in relationship to likenesses.
                    Fresh, not from concentrate.

I agree. Same thing for the Starcrash Stella Star. Close, but not close enough to spend serious money on...

Is a hommage to the beauty that is woman, a true celebration.
                        Would that be explanation enough?
