I've heard rumours that they're slowing down, there are some sales issues.

More like distribution issues. These are not easy to find, nobody carries all of them. Barnes & Noble has the largest selection but does not restock consistently and lies about getting more of them in. TRU gets large quantities of certain lines and Target has the least stock of all. I have heard Game Stop is supposed to be carrying them but saw only Pop figures there.
I am still waiting to see the Gimp from Pulp Fiction and the Storms from Big Trouble in Little China.

That may explain it then. I've had the Jaws shark pre-ordered for months now. No one in the UK has them.

Sales issues could be that they are overpriced figures...$10 for one of these is not cheap for toys that mostly look like dollar store toys. The best piece in the line is the JAWS shark, the rest are just not worth the price tag for what you get

I would love to see them do the Batman '66 lineup.

Actually Jaws was a hit according to what I know. From what I hear, they're taking a step back because some things were a hit and others were a complete dud. It's also been mentioned to me that Star Trek and the second wave of Alien were bombs.

I'm not really a collector of the line but I picked up the Jaws - Bloody Quint and Shark set from Comic Con. I also grabbed a Super 7 Masters of the Universe "Stage 01 Prototype" set. I might jump in on the Uni Monsters but that's about it.

They must have had A LOT of faith in this line of figures to go full throttle as they have. While that may work with the POPS I don't see people as getting excited over the Reaction.

I never saw any of the 2nd wave aliens in the stores at all.

I agree. Jaws was such a hit that the shark never saw the UK once stocks were sold in the U.S. It can be had on eBay, but there's no way I'm paying their prices. The figures can be had here and there, but not through many retailers. The shark though.......
It may just be the case of catching one at a toy fair for a reasonable price.

The Funko Trek line proved it's possible to put the Trek logo on something, and have fans stay away in droves. Most of the figures looked really poor. Uhura was nice, and the packaging was great, but those truly looked like bad bootlegs.

Of course it is going to bomb when you have a dozen Spocks on 1 peg and nothing else at all (TRU). Then there is B&N cancelling my order, not telling me, getting their case in and saying it was their vendor who cancelled it, then I find out their warehouse is the vendor but they won't be getting any more of that wave in, but a month later they do. I actually thought they were doing pretty good until this happened. Apparently they think they can distribute toys the same way they distribute books.

They just need to slow down, take their time, perfect their product, use glossier paints, and make Creepshow figures. That is all.

I think that's what they are doing, other than the creepshow although it's not a bad idea.
