    New Reaction Figures?

I was wondering if anyone had seen or heard about any of the other licences that Funko announced last December for this year?

I know a Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Leatherface is coming out next month. Other than that they have been pretty quiet. They are restructuring the brand, staying away from modern properties, and releasing figures less rabidly.

Wise decisions on their part, methinks.

If they take a little more time, they have the possibility to up the quality.
Reminds me of BBP: releasing a ton of figures too quickly, some quality hitches, and then it comes crashing down.

I really thought the quality on the Arrow figures was very good, lots of detail and good likeness, I would prefer to see that level of quality on more retro licenses.

Good thinking and about time. They never seemed to be able to really wrap their minds around a retro Kenner line with many of their questionable license choices. I 'd like to see less stuff like Fight Club, Pulp Fiction and Breaking Bad and more stuff like Universal Monsters, Star Trek and Jaws.

Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

I saw a Reaction Jack Skellington at CVS this weekend. That may be the figure that pushes me over the edge.....really well done IMO.

I hope that they decide to finish off some of these lines with their new branding

I was thinking because the Black Canary is Sarah, maybe they could repaint her white for the new series.

I really don't see the point of these figures. There is no articulation and sculpting are really bad. My local comic shop carries them but they don't sell well . When the made the Alien series that was ok because they were from figures the never went into production. But all these other lines they look horrible. I'm sorry but I'm spoiled with the likeness from Hot Toys and some other smaller figures from neca. Maybe in the late 70s or early 80s they would have been ok but in these times there is no point. They look like really cheap looking figures

I think the NBC and Universal Monsters are still the best they've done.

I liked the Universals, Alien series 1 and Jaws. Those really nailed it, a good combination of retro nostalgia and a recognizable look.

Yep, it's a pretty polarizing line. You either mostly love it or mostly hate it. I'm glad they're re-assessing. There've been just too many releases, too many variants, too quickly. They HAVE to be hearing of fan criticisms of sculpts and paints too. They can't just ignore it. Time for a team huddle.

I see that funko has done a set of big -head vinyl figures of Rocky Horror picture show. Will these be next in the reaction series? I really, really want a set of these figures.

There are still a number of figures that they announced that we still haven't seen pics of yet, like Star Trek TNG and The Munsters.
