Had I have been a resident of the U.S. my answer would be, no. I'm still a massive fan of the original trilogy and wouldn't even think about parting with anything that I've managed to collect, but as far as anything else goes.... Star Wars has had its day for me. Can't say that I'm looking forward to Episode 7. I'll go to see it, but it will just be the case of 'OK, I've seen it'.

I'm excited for new Star Wars but I'm really most anxious to see the characters I grew up with. I'm happy that the Kenner style is back as the main line but I wish that meant that Kenner prices were back as well! I hope that 3 3/4" Vintage style with Super Articulation will return to some degree, but in all honesty I can see why that and BMF Millenium Falcon are no longer the focus. Those concepts could potentially kill the line if not in moderation. $13-$15 3 3/4" action figures just don't really seem to be that great a value anymore. $5-$6 are a better deal...and a Millenium Falcon that 6 year olds can pickup without fear of a back injury seems like a good idea!Comment

I am looking forward to the movies, and seeing my old pals again (even if they only have a couple of minutes of screen time).
But the merchandise doesn't tick my boxes at the moment. The look, the style...meh...
The only thing that has my attention is the Hot Toys classic Luke. That gives me the oldschool SW vibe again. I think I'll save my $$, and just get that.
I'm also saving up for a 12 back R2. That was my first SW figure, and it's on my top five wantlist.
So bring on those movies, but I won't be getting a lot of new stuff..

I'm looking forward to the new movie, but Star Wars merchandise as a whole has been so prevalent in toy isles for the past 37 years, I wouldn't lose a minute's sleep if it disappeared for the remainder of my life time. I certainly respect those who collect and immerse themselves in that property like many of us do with the Mego format, but it's just not my cup of tea no matter how I've felt about the movies. Now if they ever do a Mego Star Wars line, I'll certainly look at that.Comment

I'll probably pick up a couple of figures, but I'm more focused on all the EMCE, FTC, Castaway/Zica Megos right now."It's sad that governments are chiefed by the double tongues. There is iron in your words of death for all Comanche to see, and so there is iron in your words of life. No signed paper can hold the iron. It must come from men. The words of Ten Bears carries the same iron of life and death. It is good that warriors such as we meet in the struggle of life... or death. It shall be life."Comment
