They could even come up with a version for the more adventurous. Try and get Quint our of the sharks mouth without losing a finger.

I knew I'd seen that version and remember Hooper saying "so this is what happens when a young girl goes swimming". I even had it recorded on VHS, but that would be long gone by now.

There was a version I saw when I was very young that I have a very vivid memory of, when Hooper first inspects the remains of Chrissie. In the theatrical and current releases, he just lifts the arm from the tray and says "so this is what happens". As I say, I have a very vivid memory of seeing more to that seen. I remember Hooper saying "so this is what happens when a young girl goes swimming" and actually seeing more of the remains.
I've searched and searched the net for more info on this, but can find nothing. It was shown in the very early 80's in the UK, but I can't rememeber if it was shown on the BBC or if it would have been on the ITV network.
